On Thursday, December 18, 2025, the LEEPACK Scholarship Foundation held a ceremony to award scholarships (living support grants) of 1 million KRW each to 30 North Korean defector students selected through recommendations from the Incheon West Police Station.

At the event, 3 scholarship recipients and 7 of their mothers attended.

The Foundation expressed its hope that the scholarships would provide some support as the students settle in their new homes, and also conveyed a message reminding them to take care of their health during the cold season.
