On December 15th, the Leepack Scholarship Foundation held a time to award scholarships (living subsidies) of 1 million won each to 30 North Korean defectors scholarship students selected through the recommendation of the Incheon West Police Station. 

This event has been held for 7 years since the Lipack Scholarship Foundation entered into a business agreement with the Western Police Station. This year, we selected 10 more students than last year to provide scholarships to students who may be experiencing difficulties such as COVID-19. 

Lee Il-hae, chairman of the Leepack Scholarship Foundation, and Lee Jae-hwan, chief of the Incheon Western Police Agency, conveyed a message to the North Korean defectors, saying, "Hope to settle down well in the new home, and take care of your health in the cold season."
