On December 13, the 2021 North Korean defectors Scholarship Award Ceremony was held with Lee Il-hae, chairman of the Leepack Scholarship Foundation, Lim Sil-ki, head of the Incheon Western Police Station, and Sattermin attending.

The event has been held for six years by the Leepack Scholarship Foundation under a business agreement with the Seobu Police Station, and it selects about 20 new residents to provide scholarships (living support) every year.

At the event, Lee Il-hae, chairman of the Leepack Scholarship Foundation, told the North Korean defectors to "settle well in the new home and take care of their health."
